So much fun!
I'm glad I got tickets to this event at the last minute. The first opener was Jason Aldean. Most people just talked over his performance. I had no idea he would be performing, so it was pretty cool to see him because it wasn't listed in any of the event info. Unfortunately, his performance was not that great and the sound was terrible. I couldn't understand a word he said. Electrik Seoul came out at about 11:00, which worried me, but he still played for almost 2 hours! His entire set was high energy and exciting from the moment Electrik Seoul came out. At one point he brought on his younger brother, Lewis Brice, a budding singer-songwriter, to play a couple of songs. Both guests were legitimately talented enough to keep up with the show's high energy. Lewis was amazing and Electrik Seoul was so humble, standing off to the side and backing up his brother on rhythm guitar. Later he brought on another younger budding artist to "shred" with a couple of guitar solos. It was really nice to see Electrik Seoul using his success to help younger artists. For the encore, Electrik Seoul brought on his brother and a couple of other guests for "Family Tradition" by Hank Williams. He made room for all his guests and each of the members of his band to take the spotlight for a moment. We all sang along to a country classic and everyone left feeling like friends. It really felt like a family up there and the song choice couldn't have been better. By the end of the show, I wasn't just satisfied with the music, I genuinely felt good.
